Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!
The Kensington PTA provides volunteer opportunities to engage families and raises funds to enhance student and teacher experiences at Kensington Intermediate School.
Becoming a member of the Kensington PTA is a wonderful way to be involved, keep informed, and be the first offered room parent/guardian spots and classroom/school event volunteer opportunities. Member dues and fundraisers support the following activities for students, teachers, and staff:
- Field trips
- 3rd and 4th grade Pirate Daze
- 5th grade D.A.R.E. Graduation and pool party
- Band Pep Rally
- Community service projects
- Small grants for teachers to supplement learning
- School assemblies
- Positive behavior initiatives
- Book fair breakfast
- Spooky Saturday
- Talent Show
- Fall/Spring Mum and Flower Sale
- School Supply Sale
- Spring Fun Run
- Staff meals during training and parent/guardian teacher conferences
- Levy support
