CANVAS TIPS
HOW DO I:
SETTING UP A PARENT/GUARDIAN CANVAS ACCOUNT
- Parent goes to https://rrcs.instructure.com/login/canvas
- Parent clicks need a Canvas Account
- Parent clicks choose Parents Sign Up Here and fill out information.
- The student needs to provide the code from their student account: student goes to Account --> settings --> pair with observer
- The parent types in the code on the screen.
USING THE PARENT/GUARDIAN CANVAS ACCOUNT
- From their app store, download the Canvas Parent App
- When the app opens, click QR Login
- Choose I have a Canvas Account
- They will then be prompted to enter information above
