SPOOKY SATURDAY
OCTOBER 19, 2024
This is truly a fun time for the kids (and helpers too)! If you are interested in volunteering or want to learn more, please contact Committee Chairs Rachael Lane, Laura Smith, and Michelle Fritz.
A fall tradition at Kensington, the
Spooky Saturday Carnival is KIS PTA’s largest fundraiser of the year. Spooky Saturday will be held on Saturday, October 19th from 12:00pm - 4:00pm (we will host a sensory-friendly experience from 11:15am to 12:00pm).
Play 20+ carnival games, experience a cake & treat trot, test your courage in the haunted library, take a selfie & photo op, talk to a fortune teller, collect treasures from the pocket lady, do face & nail painting, make crafts, eat cotton candy & pizza, enjoy raffles, get prize redemption cards, and much more!
Activity Tickets - Avoid Lines & $ave Money! Pre-sale of tickets will be available online
through Wednesday, October 16th at 9pm. Tickets are $0.50 each with pre-sale discounts when purchasing bundles of 25 or 50 tickets. Please note – all activities (including food) require tickets. Activities range from 1-4 tickets; food from 2-6 tickets.
Tickets will be available at the door and can be purchased via cash, credit card, or PayPal.

limited number of spots so

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: HELP MAKE SPOOKY SATURDAY A SUCCESS
Treat Trot Donation: The Cake Walk has been a Spooky Saturday tradition over the years. It has now transformed from home-baked cakes to also include other treats. In following Kensington’s food policies, you can hang up your apron and
donate a cake/treat from Wild Flour Bakery for $15 through our website.
Place Orders Here by noon on Friday, October 11th. We will pick up your cake/treat and deliver directly to Spooky Saturday on your behalf.
VOLUNTEERS: Spooky Saturday truly takes a village to pull off and we have a great one here at Kensington and in Rocky River.
Please consider helping out where you can!
Finally, We have a winner! Many students at KIS entered in a Spooky Saturday poster design competition. We have so many talented and creative students - it was tough to choose! Our winner is Ben, a 4th grade student. Their flyer (attached) is being disseminated throughout Kensington, Goldwood and Beach as well as used in all of our virtual marketing. Congratulations!
We cannot wait to see everyone on Saturday, October 19th. Please feel free to share with preschools, family and friends -- all are welcome!
