Dear Goldwood Families,
As primary school teachers and staff, we are struggling with the knowledge that we will not being seeing the children for the next three weeks. We genuinely love our job and love watching the children learn and grow. We want you to know that we will miss each child and we look forward to when we can all be together again.
Please view the Goldwood website for the learning activities/assignments that the teachers thoughtfully designed to promote reinforcement. We attempted to create learning opportunities that, for the most part, can be done with minimal adult assistance. We do know that some activities may require more guidance from the parent. However, the hope is that your child attempts to complete the reinforcing activities independently and the adult guides as needed. We planned these activities to be purposeful, yet interesting and fun!
At the bottom of each grade level assignment list is a link to a document titled, Skill Building Games for Students and Families. These games do not require technology! Please take a look at this list of games to play together and have some fun!
We are available through email if you have any questions. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the teacher, counselor, or myself if you have any questions, and/or need guidance on how to help your child complete an assignment.
