Ms. Lauren Negrey is serving her first term on the Board of Education after being elected in November of 2021. Her term expires on December 31, 2025.

Negrey is a licensed professional mental health counselor currently in private practice, but has spent most of her career as a school counselor. Negrey is active in the Rocky River community as a member of the school PTA’s, League of Women Voters and a variety of volunteer work. Negrey holds her M.Ed in Counselor Education from Ohio University.

She and her husband, Dan, have three children who attend Rocky River Middle School, Kensington Intermediate School and Goldwood Primary School.
