Kelly Rucker Frindt is serving her first term on the Board of Education after being elected in November of 2023. Her term expires on December 31, 2027.

Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Frindt spent eight years in various roles in two Cleveland City Charter Schools. Bouncing between in-class instruction and administrative duties, she gained a deep appreciation for the opportunities schools can provide in all communities and is passionate about continuing to develop Rocky River's excellent schools.

Frindt, who grew up in Rocky River and attended kindergarten though 12th grade in the Rocky River City Schools (Class of 2003), is a 2007 graduate of Marietta College with a Bachelor’s of Arts in History. She also earned her Masters of Reading Literacy and K-12 Reading Endorsement from Ashland University in 2012.

Frindt and her husband, Joe, have two children who attend Rocky River City Schools.
