Childcare Transportation Requests
Parents needing transportation service to/from a childcare provider must complete this online form by July 31 in order for transportation service to begin on the first day of school. Forms received after July 31 will not go into effect until September 2. 
AFS Host Families Needed
AFS is in need of Host Families for foreign exchange students for the 2014-15 school year. Students arrive in mid-August and stay for the duration of the academic year, returning home in June. Due to the short time before they are due to arrive, we are also looking for Welcome Families who are willing to host for 3-10 weeks while we continue to look for a permanent home for these students. 
RRHS Media Specialist to Participate in National Education Program
Yvonne Morbitzer, the media specialist at Rocky River High School, has been selected from a pool of more than 400 applicants to participate in the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Summer Teacher Institute for the week of July 21-25, 2014.  
Rocky River Student Activities Boosters
It is time once again for the Rocky River Student Activities Boosters annual membership drive. Your support is very important to the success of students involved in co-curricular activities at Rocky River’s Middle School and High School.  
Goldwood Playground Ribbon Cutting August 15
On Friday, August 15 at 4 PM, the newly renovated Goldwood Primary School playground will officially open.  The ribbon-cutting will be just one element of the day’s celebration. The Rocky River High School Pep Band is scheduled to play, and treats will be available to purchase from an ice-cream truck.  
RRHS Smoke Stack
The Rocky River High School smoke stack is coming down! No longer used, the smoke stack will be removed over the summer and the courtyard renovated to create an outdoor space for students. Access to sections of the high school will be limited during the removal period.  
RRHS Football Team Volunteers at Cleveland Browns Youth Football Camp
On June 19th, members of the Rocky River Varsity Football Team were asked to give back to their community by participating as student-athlete coaches at the Cleveland Browns Youth Football Camp. The camp took place at First Energy Stadium with over 200 campers ranging in ages 7-12 years of age attending. The RRHS student-athletes provided instruction on activities that take place both on and off the field, stressing the importance of academic and athletic excellence.
