Kindergarten Tour
All incoming kindergarteners and parents, please be sure to stop by Goldwood on Thursday, May 23rd from 4 - 5 PM and tour your new school.  Hope to see you then!
School Funding - Your Help Needed
We are asking for help from our parents and Rocky River residents to ensure that the Rocky River City School District does not receive school funding cuts from the State of Ohio as the two-year state budget moves through the House and Senate.
Why Not Wear a Helmet?
Spring is in the air, and at Goldwood Primary School on Wednesday, helmets were on heads.  Wednesday, March 27 was Safety Day, and kindergarteners, first and second graders learned about the importance of wearing a bike helmet.  
Goldwood Second-Grader is Top Dog
Brody Spagnoletti is a second-grader at Goldwood Primary School. And this year, he’s Top Dog. Brody won first place for second grade in the Top Dog essay contest, sponsored by The Dog License Department of the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Office.

Recycling Juice Boxes
The Goldwood Recycling Team is proud to have partnered with Kensington to provide a successful Juice Pouch recycling process at Goldwood.  The Rocky River Education Foundation (RREF) will receive 2¢ for every juice pouch collected by Goldwood and Kensington. 
Please encourage your children to recycle their Capri-Sun and Honest Kids juice pouches at lunch. 
Free Milk Application
Dear Parents,
Please print and complete the attached form if you would like to request free milk.  Families qualify if they are experiencing difficulty financially.  This is a confidential process and your privacy will be our highest priority.

Heritage Day 2012
Friday, April 27 was a busy day for students at Goldwood Primary School in Rocky River. On that day, students from kindergarten through second grade got to “travel” to four different countries, thanks to the school’s annual Heritage Day.
