Course Registration 2012/2013

The on-line course registration process for the 2012/2013 school year is under way! Students received their course registration forms, instructions and on-line passwords on January 31st. Course requests may be entered February 1-9, 2012. Please note, due to regularly scheduled maintenance, the on-line scheduling system will not be available between the hours of 5pm-7pm on Wednesday, February 1st and February 8th. Students must return their completed registration forms in English class on Friday, February 10, 2012

Spring Musical
The Drama Department will present its spring musical, Fame, March 29-31, 2012. Tickets will be $8 for adults, $6 for students, and free for senior citizens and children 5 and under. Please click on the link for a ticket order form for more information.

Science Olympiad Teams Do Well at Kenston

Rocky River Schools Achieving Excellence

RRHS PTA Fruit Sale
The annual Rocky River High School PTA Fruit Sale has begun! Juicy grapefruit, navel and juice oranges are a great source of Vitamin C and are a tasty winter treat. Proceeds from the fruit sale are used for RRHS PTA school projects and $250 mini grants to students to fund projects for their clubs, teams or classes. Posted Monday, January 09, 2012

RRHS PTA Student Mini Grants
The PTA has funded $2,250 of grants for the following groups so far this year: Science Olympiad, Forensics, Girls' Cross Country, Swimming/Diving, Key Club, Varsity Girls' Basketball, Model United Nations, Freshman Mentoring program and the RRHS Band.  The next grant application deadline is 1/10/12.  Apply online here.

River Film Fest
We are excited to announce that the 1st River Film Fest is coming! Students at RRMS & RRHS are invited to submit a movie to the River Film Fest, which will be held on 2/9/12.  Staff members are also invited to submit their work.  Trophies will be given for each category and division, with winners being recognized on the night of the River Film Fest.  Select submissions will also be featured on the River Film Fest website. RRHS PTA Funds $1,000 in Mini Grants to Students
At its meeting on September 20, the RRHS PTA voted to fund Mini Grants to Students totaling $1,000.  This is the first of four funding cycles.

RRHS Construction Updates & Frequently Asked Questions

Construction of the new Science and Music wings has progressed significantly to the point where the new wings are under roof as planned.  Classrooms will begin to take shape over the winter months.  Inside the high school, major construction has begun on the gymnasium locker rooms.  Planning and preparation continues in renovating existing  business, computer, journalism and new digital art technology labs.  Look for future updates on a monthly basis during 2012.
