Spirit of Giving
Rocky River students, employees, friends and family have the true spirit of giving in their hearts. The students in Ms. Baddour's class and Ms. Brown's class were able to deliver a whopping 1753 Santa letters to Macy's Monday, December 9th! That is comparable to $1753.00 that will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Ms. Baddour’s and Ms. Brown's classes thank everyone for helping them to meet and exceed their goal for their "Community Project". Thank you to all of you! May your wishes come true!

Pirate Pride Award
The Pirate Pride award recognizes students who get "caught doing something good." A student may be nominated who has demonstrated a behavior that goes above and beyond the ordinary in terms of kindness, civility, or citizenship.

The Pirate Pride winner for the week of December 15th is junior Madeline Rowley!
Mrs. Evelyn Urbin, our Counseling Department Secretary, had nominated Madeline saying, "I recently participated in a fund raising event for Youth Challenge. This program brings together children with disabilities and youth volunteers who enrich each other's lives through various activities. Madeline was there and shared with me how much she enjoyed her time. She looked really happy and in her element."  We are proud of Madeline for her sense of kindness and responsibility.
