Pirate Pride Award
The Pirate Pride award recognizes students who get "caught doing something good." A student may be nominated who has demonstrated a behavior that goes above and beyond the ordinary in terms of kindness, civility, or citizenship.

The Pirate Pride winner for the week of October 13th is junior Andrea McGannon!  Mr. Russ Shuster, Andrea's math teacher, had nominated her saying, "On her way to first period, Andrea noticed a substitute teacher who looked lost. She asked if she could help, and then walked the sub to her class which was out of Andrea's way to her own class.  This was a wonderful example of a student being observant and then taking the initiative to help someone in need."  We're very proud of Andrea and her sense of kindness and politeness.
