Kiss Me Kate

Mark your calendars - the drama department's spring musical this year is Kiss Me, Kate, and it will be performed March 25 - March 27 at 7:30.  Kiss Me, Kate is about a theater troupe performing Shakespeare's comedy The Taming of the Shrew, and along the way, the actors find that the plot of the show has many parallels to their own lives.  It's true to Shakespeare's comedies with lots of abuse and insult! The music is Cole Porter's with songs such as "Another Op'nin" and "I Hate Men".

Spring Bike and Skateboard Helmet Sale
The Why Not Wear A Helmet organization is pleased to be able to provide affordable helmets to those who are interested in purchasing them.  Please find an order form and instructions on sizing and ordering  bike and skateboard helmets on the order form attachment.  Helmet orders need to be received no later than Thursday, March 19th.  Forms can be sent into school with your child or mailed to the Board of Education Offices at 21600 Center Ridge Road, attention Why Not Wear A Helmet. Posted Wednesday, March 10, 2010
2010 Rocky River Prom Fashion Show

Pasta Dinner Featuring Chef Bryan Gorton
Enjoy Rocky River graduate Chef Bryan Gorton's culinary skills at a pasta dinner on March 27 from 5:30-7:30 PM at Rocky River High School. Junior Class Fundraiser
The RRHS Junior Class is selling Malley's Chocolates.  The Internet sale dates are from 2/3/10 - 3/29/10, while catalog dates are from 2/3/10 - 2/24/10.  All catalog orders are to be returned to Mrs. Olinger.  Checks should be made payable to Rocky River High School. Pirate Pride Award

The Pirate Pride Award winner for the week of March 8th is freshman Johnny Keith who was nominated by teacher Ms. Elizabeth Delzani.  Johnny was nominated for his kindness and service to others in math class.  This is exactly the kind of responsible action that Rocky River High School likes to recognize.
