The People’s Court in Rocky River
“All rise for the Honorable Donna Congeni Fitzsimmons.”  So began the Rocky River Court session on Tuesday morning, May 21. Just an hour earlier, the Honorable Brian F. Hagan had presided. While the cases were typical of a day in court, the location was not: on this Tuesday morning, court was in session in the Rocky River Middle School Commons.

Bike To School Challenge
The kick off of the 2013 RRMS Bike to School Challenge had a record 291 students participate - a 43% increase over last year's numbers.   UPDATE: 364 students biked to school on Wednesday, May 8!  This is 59% of the of the school population - a new record.
T-dap Immunization
Attached is the Certification of Immunization that will be necessary for incoming 7th graders for the 2013/14 school year.
Maltz Museum Recognizes RRMS Essayists
Rocky River Middle School 8th graders Laura DeVito and Kim Taylor were awarded 2nd and 3rd Prize respectively for their grade in the Maltz Museum's Stop the Hate: Youth Speak Out! essay contest.  A ceremony was held at Severance Hall to recognize the winners on May 3.
MS Academic Superbowl
Two eighth grade teams from Rocky River Middle School participated in the Academic Superbowl at the Cuyahoga County ESC last month.
