Reading Corner
Reading is thinking! We will be using the Wonder's Reading Program within our Reading and Writing Workshops to grow as learners this year. Students will listen to stories read aloud, they will read independently, read with partners, read in groups, and listen to stories read aloud on computers. They will read all different kinds of text; fiction, non-fiction, picture books, chapter books, biographies, poetry, internet articles, and so much more! Strong readers are constantly reading and thinking about their reading. Students will be asked to continue their reading at home by reading 15-20 minutes each night. The more we read, the more we learn!
