**RECENT WEBSITE CHANGES ARE IN RED
*NEW: Refer to the season schedule below. A few changes have been made and more are coming. Primarily, the changes are most meets being moved back one week.
*PAPERWORK and PHYSICALS: Physicals and all other required forms will need to be uploaded to the online portal. The One View portal will open the week of July 6th and the forms must be uploaded by the first week of August to allow for processing to be able to participate on August 10th (the new first day of practice).

*SUMMER TRAINING PLAN: Starts July 1st. See the link to the right side of the screen.
*FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE: Monday August 10, 2020 (TBD) This might change within the next few days.
*WEEK #1 PRACTICE WILL FEATURE STRENGTH and CONDITIONING AND TIMING FOR THE MILE AND 2-MILE RUNS.
*PRACTICE TIMES: Summer practices start at 8:00am and end at 9:30am.
*ATTENDANCE: We thank you in advance for your commitment to our team with daily attendance.
DAILY PRACTICE SCHEDULE (during most summertime practices):
-Mondays 8:00-9:30= core strength, long run
-Tuesdays 8:00-9:30= repeats, hills, sprint work, upper/ lower body strength training
-Wednesdays 8:00-9:30= 2 mile tempo run, core strength, course/ race tips, MITCHELL'S ICE CREAM
-Thursdays 8:00-9:30= intervals with distance, upper/ lower body strength training
-Friday mornings 8:00-9:30= easy run, stretching, team discussion, and team dinner on some Fridays.

*Friday practices= once school starts, we run from 7:20am to 7:40am (allowing for Math review sessions and freedom on Fridays after school) -PLEASE ARRIVE BY 7:15am.
*Team race v Open race. Team race= top 7 fastest athletes. Open races are reserved for those athletes placing 8th or higher at the previous meet.
2020 SEASON MEET SCHEDULE:
*Athletes should always ride the bus with the team to and from every event.
*The "transportation release form" must be used in order to pull an athlete from riding the bus with the team and should be submitted in advance of the meet.

11:00am: Middle School Boys/Girls Varsity (top 7 boys and top 7 girls from each school)
11:30am: Middle School Open Boys
12:00pm: Middle School Open Girls
BUS DEPARTS: 10:15am , BUS RETURNS: 1:00ish

RACE 5 (BOYS)= 5:55 pm against Amherst, Brookside, Brunswick, Olmsted Falls, Rocky River, WCA, Keystone

-Monday October 19= CLEAN UNIFORM COLLECTION PARTY= Monday October 19
Monday October 19 at 3:30pm in the RRMS West Gym. This special celebratory event will also provide athletes with an opportunity to turn in spikes, gather lost and found items from the bins, etc. Athletes could leave RRMS as early as 3:40pm.
-FALL SPORTS BANQUET: Held on Wednesday October 21 (date change TBD) in the RRMS COMMONS at 7:00pm. This provides a last chance to submit clean uniforms and or spikes- submit in a bag with your name on it. Cookies will be offered as a gift.
