Your child will have a turn being Pirate of the Week! 

A bag will be sent home the week before with directions to complete a few activities. This covers several Common Core Standards in a fun way!

 

Monday:  The student will return the Pirate of the Week bag with all the activities and present their All About Me Poster

 

Tuesday:  The student will present their timeline.  Please construct a timeline including 4 events from birth until Kindergarten.  Be creative as you would like (pictures, photographs, drawings, dates, and events) 

 

Wednesday: Bring in a favorite book from home to share with your classmates.

 

Thursday: Mystery Bag: Write 3 clues about a mystery item and put the clues and the item in the Mystery Bag.  Your child will share the 3 clues and the other students will try to predict the mystery item.

 

Friday: A handmade class book from classmates will be presented to the Pirate of the Week.
