Criteria for Induction:
Rear admiral Patrick M Stillman is inducted into the Hall of Fame as a Distinguished Alumnus and Citizen.  In the years after graduating from Rocky River High School in 1968, Patrick Stillman his forged a most distinguished and commendable career of honor with United States Coast Guard.
 
Rear Admiral Stillman graduated with honors from the Coast Guard Academy in 1972. He later earned an advanced degree at Wesleyan University and George Washington University. He then began a legacy of over 30 years of service to the nation in the Coast Guard.
 
Rear Admiral Stillman eventually became Commandant of the Coast Guard Academy, being responsible for the professional and character development of the Corps of Cadets. He has served as Commanding Officer of three Coast Guard Cutters including America's Tall Ship, the Coast Guard Barque EAGLE, our nations premier sailing ship. 
 
Rear Admiral Stillman became the first Program Executive Officer of the Integrated Deepwater System Acquisition in April 2001. Primary responsibilities in this position focus on the development of an integrated system of surface, air, command and control and logistics assets that serve America's maritime safety and security needs. 
 
Rear Admiral Stillman has received two Legion of Merit metals, two Meritorious Service Medals and two Coast Guard Commendation medals and remains at the vanguard of our nations efforts to provide and extend homeland security.
