Criteria for Induction:
O’Bryan began working at the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center in 1996 as a volunteer crisis hotline advocate. Fifteen years later, she is president and CEO, even while continuing her service as a hotline advocate. She oversees a staff of 26 and coordinates the work of hundreds of volunteers. The 24-hour center has a $1.6 million operating budget, which has doubled during O’Bryan’s tenure.
