Flat Stanley is a character from a book written by Jeff Brown. One night while he was sleeping, a bulletin board flattened him. To save money, his parents mailed him in a large envelope. The Flat Stanley Project was created to help Stanley travel all around the world. Our Flat Stanley is designed as a pirate to represent Rocky River's mascot. Adventures in past years have included the 2006 Olympics, serving in Iraq, disaster relief after Hurricane Katrina, surviving the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, and travels all around the world.
