Teacher, coach and administrator in the Rocky River School District of 23+ years.  She was selected Ohio Academy of Science Acker Mathematics Teacher of the Year in 1994, and received a Martha Holden Jennings Master Teacher Award in 1997.

 

Gweynn coached volleyball at Rocky River High School for 14 years.  Her teams won one Southwestern Conference Championships, three Regional Championships and were State Runner-Up in 1983.  She was selected SWC Coach of the Year three times.

 

She coached softball for 17 years and was selected as SWC Coach of the Year eight times.  She also coached JV Basketball for three years and Varsity Basketball for two years.  She served as the Rocky River Junior High School Athletic Director and as the Coordinator of women's athletics at the high school for two years.
