Criteria for Induction:
On December 15, 2015, C. Forrest Faison III was promoted from Rear Admiral to Vice Admiral and became the 38th Surgeon General of the U.S. Navy. He also serves as Chief of the Bureau of Medicine and Science.
 
After graduation from RRHS, Vice Admiral Faison received his bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He completed post-graduate training in general pediatrics at Naval Hospital San Diego and fellowship training in neurodevelopmental pediatrics at the University of Washington.
 
Faison has served in numerous roles during his career, including Commander at the Navy Medicine West and Naval Medical Center San Diego. He also led the U.S. Medical Task Force, responsible for all health care operations in Kuwait, Qatar and southern Iraq.
 
During his time at Rocky River High School, Faison was a member of the swim team for all four years.
