Criteria for Induction:
David earned nine varsity letters in football, wrestling and track while at RRHS. Upon his graduation from high school, he attended Miami University on a football scholarship and played for the legendary Bo Schembechler. David graduated from West Virginia University on a wrestling scholarship before earning a Masters Degree in Psychology from Washington College. In 1970, he began his career teaching and coaching in the Kent County, Maryland Public Schools. David later served for twelve years as the principal of Kent County High School and as the Assistant Superintendent of the Kent County Schools for five years. He was selected as "Maryland Principal of the Year" and as a finalist for the "National Principal of the Year." David was also selected by Executive Educator Magazine as one of the "Top 100 School Administrators in North America."
