ROCKY RIVER, Ohio (Sept. 28, 2024) -- Rocky River ran its unbeaten streak to seven games with a Saturday Night-Senior Night triumph over West Geauga. Behind goals from Vinny Anthony, Quentin Daily, and Stephen Cain, the Sons of Blackbeard topped the Wolverines 3-1.

The victory at Rocky River Stadium runs the Maroon & White's record since Sept. 4 to 5-0-2.

Eleven River seniors were honored as part of the evening's festivities. The senior members of the 2024 Boys Soccer squad are Vinny Anthony, Landon Biscardi, Stephen Cain, Niket Choudavarapu, Tanner LaPorte, Dylan LaPorte, Steph Loizos, Ethan Marsh, Noah Nagy, Gabriel Schroth, and Walid Tokhi.

The Saturday evening affair marked the first of three straight home games for Double-R. The Pirates will continue that stretch with a Monday 7 p.m. contest against Chagrin Falls.
