ROCKY RIVER, Ohio (Aug. 27, 2024) -- Rocky River opened its 2024 season with a 3-0 triumph over Valley Forge Tuesday.

The Pirates prevailed by scored of 25-7, 25-12, and 25-11, as they earned a straight-sets win for the 10th time in their last 11 matches against the Patriots.

The contest marked not only the Pirates' season opener but also the program's first contest in the newly-formed Cleveland West Conference.

Rocky River (1-0, 1-0 CWC) is slated to play its 2024 road opener Thursday at Buckeye.
