PEPPER PIKE, Ohio (Aug. 24, 2024) -- Rocky River opened its road season with a Saturday matinee at Orange Saturday. The Pirates prevailed 4-2 in the non-conference contest against the Lions.

Quentin Dailey and Noah Nagy netted two goals each. Eric Gorius, Steph Loizos, Sebastian Maher, and Gabe Schroth were credited with assists. Daily has now filed five goals in two games.

Saturday's meeting in Pepper Pike marked the first game between the Pirates and Lions since Oct. 17, 2020.

Rocky River (2-0) will host Padua Monday at 7 p.m.
