AVON LAKE, Ohio (March 27, 2025) -- Junior Addie Tisler tied a program record for single-game points, as Rocky River routed the Avon Lake Shoregals 19-4 Thursday.

The Pirates won the Northern Ohio Lacrosse League battle in wire-to-wire fashion. River outshot Avon Lake 35-19 in logging its largest margin of victory since April 9 (20-4 vs. Westlake). Tisler (six goals), Clara DeWitt (5G) and Elle Mocho (5G) were Rocky River top scorers. Tisler added four assists; her 10 points tied a school mark owned by former Pirates Kaitlyn Byrne (8G-2A--10P vs. Ottawa Hills May 3, 2023) and Lauren Cain (9G-1A--10P vs. Wooster May 11, 2019).

The Pirates (3-0, 2-0 NOLL) also got solid performances from Grace DeWitt (2G, six ground balls, four caused turnovers), Ellie Holton (1G, 5A), Bode McDougal (5 GB), and Claudia Walsh (six saves in 10 shots on frame).

The Double-R was a plus-10 in turnovers, filing just 10 against the Shoregals' 24.

The Pirates will continue their season Saturday at Walsh (11:30 a.m. opening draw).
