Dear Rocky River Community:
Today, we are excited to announce the publication of two important documents on our website: the Leadership Profile Report and the Desired Superintendent Characteristics for the Rocky River City School District’s upcoming search for a new Superintendent of Schools. These documents encapsulate the valuable input we received from our community during the engagement phase of the superintendent search process.
You can view the documents at the links below:
The insights were gathered through a series of focus group discussions and an online survey, ensuring a broad array of perspectives from staff, students, parents and community members. Our search consultants from HYA meticulously compiled and summarized this data, which was subsequently reviewed and accepted by the Board of Education to ensure accuracy and relevance.
The Leadership Profile Report highlights the district's perceived strengths and challenges, as well as the key qualities desired in a new superintendent. Meanwhile, the Desired Superintendent Characteristics not only embody the community's aspirations but also serve as a guiding framework through which all applicants will be assessed and evaluated.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in this crucial phase of the search process. Your voice truly matters. We encourage you to regularly visit our website for updates and to stay informed on the progress as we move forward in selecting our next Superintendent. Your continued engagement is vital to this important journey.
Thank you.
