Our high school is located 9 miles west of Cleveland, Ohio, on the Lake Erie shoreline. Accredited by the Ohio Department of Education, we are regarded as a high achieving public school who has earned “Excellent” status for the past several years. Rocky River City Schools has consistently ranked in the top ten in the Cleveland Magazine for over a decade.

We have a strong, diverse curriculum that prepares all students to meet college and career expectations. We presently offer twelve Advanced Placement courses and three dual enrollment courses that afford students the opportunity to earn college credit while earning their high school diploma.

Our high school has established a vibrant and progressive professional learning community that focuses on and promotes student learning. Weekly collaborative time has proven to be beneficial to our students with increased OGT results as follows: Reading-99%, Writing-99.5%, Math-98.5%, Science-93.3% and Social Studies 96.9%. Additionally, Advanced Placement testing resulted in 12 AP Scholars, 10 AP Scholars with Honors, and 6 AP Scholars with Distinction.
