ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – Each month during the 2023-2024 school year, the Rocky River City School District will highlight a member of the senior class who is in the West Shore Career Technical District program to showcase pathways and possible careers.
For the month of May, we are featuring Ted Lord, who is in the Construction Trades program.
Ted chose to attend West Shore because it was a great opportunity for him to get involved in something he could see himself doing in the future. The West Shore program provided Ted with hands-on experiences and also allows him to work on time management skills.
After high school, Ted is planning to work in the construction field.
If students are thinking about joining a West Shore program, Ted would encourage them to take everything into consideration and make sure you genuinely want to take the class because the opportunities and experiences are very beneficial.
