RRHS Students Receive Career Passports at West Shore Assembly

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – Eight students from Rocky River High School received their Career Passports at the West Shore Career-Technical District Student Recognition and Career Passport Assembly that was held on Thursday, May 16, at the Lakewood Civic Auditorium.

Career Passports are awarded to West Shore students who successfully complete their course of study. The West Shore Career-Technical District provides vocational training to students from Bay Village, Lakewood, Rocky River and Westlake.

The following students received Career Passports in their program of study:

  • Automotive Technology: Jack DeCrane
  • Business Management: Richard Skains
  • Construction: Ted Lord, Paige Sampat
  • Culinary Arts: Jacob Davies
  • Early Childhood Education: Caleb Bennett
  • Medical Office Management: Krista Ehrman
  • Sports & Exercise Science: Lucia Douglas
Several individuals also received special awards at today’s ceremony. The trio of Bennett, Ehrman and Skains were accepted into the National Technical Honors Society, while Harper Washio received the Community Based Training Work Ethic Award from the Lakewood/Rocky River Rotary Club.
