National Art Honor Society Raises Funds for Food Bank

May 13, 2024

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio - Members of the Rocky River High School National Art Honor Society were busy during the Opening Night of the district art show last week. The group glazed 50 bowls prior to the art show and filled them with ice cream to sell. The bowls sold out, raising $400 which was donated to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.

For more than 40 years, the National Art Honor Society programs have provided national recognition and opportunities for students who exhibit outstanding scholarship in the visual arts, and for their teachers. Participation in NAHS provides students, faculty, school, and community with invaluable benefits—including peer recognition, leadership growth opportunities, college and career preparation, recognition of your art program, and so much more.
