RRCSD to Participate in Great Kindness Challenge Week

ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – The Rocky River City School District will join other schools and districts around the country in recognizing the importance of creating a culture of kindness at school by taking part in the Great Kindness Challenge from January 23-27, 2023.

The Great Kindness Challenge aims to empower students, parents, families, teachers, staff, and the community to create a culture of kindness. During the challenge, students and staff pledge to perform as many acts of kindness as possible. While each school will continue to encourage kindness during the week, there are also several district-wide initiatives during the week.

Do Something Kind for a Family member (Help out at home)

Tuesday, January 24

Talk to Someone Tuesday (Talk to someone new at school today)

Wednesday, January 25

Kind Word Wednesday (Compliment 5 people)

Thursday, January 26

Thankful Thursday (Show gratitude to 1 person who has helped you)

Friday, January 27

Find the Good in You Friday (Wear tie-dye or bright colors to highlight the good in you)
