ROCKY RIVER, Ohio - The award-winning Rocky River High School Drama Department presents Bright Star as this year’s spring musical with performances in the auditorium at 7:00pm on March 30-31 and April 1. The cast and crew have been busy with rehearsals, costumes and building the set for several months.
Written by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, Bright Star is a dramatic, moving, and compelling tale inspired by a true story. The production received five Tony nominations, including Best Musical and Best Original Score.
Tickets for all three performances are available online. With one of the characters in Bright Star returning home from war, the Drama Department would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge and thank veterans and active service members in our community. As a token of our appreciation, service members may select "Veteran/Active Military" when choosing their seats to receive a complimentary ticket.
