ROCKY RIVER, Ohio (Sept. 5, 2023) -- The Pirates earned their third shutout win of the season, as they downed the Cloverleaf Colts 2-0 in Tuesday night n0n-conference action at Rocky River Stadium.

The Double-R dominated possession time, garnering seven corner kicks and 12 shots on goal. Rocky River (4-1) converted on one of those shots each half (goal details unavailable at time of publication).

The Colts (4-4) kept things close with senior goalkeeper Dylan Bresnahan making nine saves in 74 minutes of action.

The Pirates are slated to take on the Fairview Warriors in a Great Lakes Conference West Division match Wednesday.
