FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio (Sept. 11, 2023) -- Rocky River swept a Lake Erie Girls Golf Association tri-match at Big Met Golf Course Monday.

The Pirates posted a team score of 188 on the par-36, 2,734-yard front nine at Big Met. Those digits easily undercut Columbia (206) and Fairview was short a player and forced to forfeit.

Chloe Holton carded a 1-over 37 to lead the Pirates (13-1, 8-0 LEGGA). Mia Ginnetti (48), Julia Schmid (49), and Charlotte Roche (54) rounded out River's scoring four.

Taylor Kuhrt led Columbia with a 44.

Monday's LEGGA action marked the front end of four straight days of events for the Buccaneers. Rocky River is slated to continue that run Tuesday at the Canterbury Invitational at Canterbury Country Club.
