ROCKY RIVER, Ohio (April 4, 2023) -- Rocky River earned its third consecutive win Tuesday, as the Pirates blanked the Maple Heights Mustangs 10-0.

Anthony Ferchill (one inning), Julian Patti (3 IP), and Jack Petrus (1 IP), combined to allow just one hit in the five-frame, run-rule affair at Rocky River Field. The Buccaneers scored two runs in the bottom of the first, then five more in the third, and three more in the fifth. Rocky River (3-2) did all that damage on just five base hits. Maple Heights pitching issued 11 walks.

Center field and leadoff man Gavin O'Brien reached base three times in the non-conference tilt at the Bus Yard. O'Brien filed a single, double, and a walk. Designated hitter Dan Capka knocked in two runs.
