ROCKY RIVER, Ohio - Rocky River voters approved Issue 10 by a 52.48%-47.52% margin on Tuesday, November 8. With a 63% voter turnout, Issue 10 passed with vote totals of 5,467 for vs. 4,951 against, according to results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.
“This is a great day for the Rocky River City School District and our students,” Superintendent Michael Shoaf said. “Thank you to the voters of Rocky River for coming out in support of our schools and Issue 10. We pride ourselves on being a top school district in Ohio with strong fiscal management and we couldn’t achieve that without our supportive community.
“We are proud of our schools and all of the dedicated people who work so hard to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for our students. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to get our message out and to those who are committed to providing a high-quality education for our students.”
