ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – Rocky River Middle School was recently recognized by Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation with a Top Fundraising Award.
The recognition stems from Kick-It, a program of Alex’s Lemonade Stand to help raise money for childhood cancer. RRMS students raised more than $9,600 during the week-long program at the end of September, which was $2,000 more than the RRMS campaign goal. All funds raised went directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand which supports patients and families affected by pediatric cancer.
RRMS students and staff capped off the week by playing kickball games, which is Alex’s favorite game.
