ROCKY RIVER, Ohio (April 20, 2023) -- The Pirates were sunk 11-0 by the Buckeye Bucks Thursday at Rocky River Field. Buckeye starter Dylan Sickle scattered two singles in the five-inning run-rule contest.

The Bucks outhit the Pirates 12-2 and benefited from six River errors. Julian Patti and Hudson Wissman logged Rocky River's only hits in what marked the team's fifth consecutive setback.

The Pirates (4-7) are slated to host Huron Friday.
