LaGRANGE, Ohio (Aug. 22, 2022) -- Rocky River remained ubeaten on the season by defeating Keystone 204-231 in a Lake Erie Girls Golf Association match Monday.

The Pirates (5-0, 3-0 LEGGA) were led by Mia Ginnetti (46) and Chloe Holton (48) in the decisive win over a challenging 2,533-yard, par-36 layout at Grey Hawk Golf Club. Rocky River won handily despite recording eight triple bogeys or worse among their scoring four (Ginnett, Holton, Julia Schmid, Sophia Loparo). Karlie Kistler paced the host Wildcats with a 17-over 53.

Monday's 27-stroke victory marked the team's second-largest margin of victory this season.

The Pirates are scheduled to play another LEGGA road match -- against Columbia at Pine Brook Golf Course (Grafton, Ohio) -- on Tuesday.
