PARMA, Ohio (Aug. 15, 2022) -- Rocky River placed seventh in Monday's Flamingo Frenzy at Ridgewood Golf Course. [results]

The Pirates got top-15 performances from Chloe Holton and Mia Ginnetti as they finished in the top third of a talented 21-team field in the event hosted by Parma High School. Holton (39-46--85) and Ginnetti (44-42--86) were the lead edge of a 377 team score in breezy conditions at the par-72, 5,013-yard layout in Parma.

The Pirate top-4 was rounded out by a par of 103s (Julia Schmid, Nora Sheridan). Holton's 85 was good for 14th place in a field of 110 players. The Double-R junior owns a team-best 9-hole stroke average of 41.4 through three scored events (45 holes).

Monday's tournament marked the front end of a stretch that has the Pirates scheduled to play three times in as many days. Rocky River is slated to host a Lake Erie Girls Golf Association match against Westlake on Tuesday.
