NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio (Sept. 28, 2022) -- Rocky River lost a Great Lakes Conference West Division road match at North Olmsted Wednesday evening. The host Eagles prevailed 3-0.

Senior forward Nick Spanu scored two goals to lead the Eagles (5-4-3, 2-1 GLC West) who have now won three straight games. Goalkeeper Will DeClerck made eight saves for the Maroon & White.

The Pirates (2-5-4, 0-3) will open a stretch of three straight home matches with a Saturday non-conference affair against Padua (Rocky River Stadium, 7 p.m.).
