ROCKY RIVER, Ohio (Oct. 1, 2022) -- Rocky River clocked a 3-2 non-conference victory over the Padua Bruins Saturday night.

Pirate goals were scored by Fionn Harte, Nart Yilmaz, and Stephano Loizos. All three River goals -- and the two counters by Padua -- were tallied in the second half of play.

In a contest that marked Senior Night for the Double-R program, Harte, Yilmaz, and fellow seniors Will DeClerck, Nathyn Marius, Patrick O'Neill, and Charlie Russell were saluted for their contributions to Rocky River Boys Soccer.

The contest marked the front half of back-to-back non-conference affairs at Rocky River Stadium. The Pirates (3-5-4) are scheduled to host the Chagrin Falls Tigers Monday at 7 p.m.
