River tallied a 396 as a team. McKeown was joined on the four-card score sheet by sophomore Chloe Holton (101), senior Rachel Baird (104), and freshman Mia Ginnetti (107). The Pirate score finished seventh in a field of 16 looking to advance in the Buckeye State links tournament. Magnificat (303), Strongsville (341), Avon (348), and St. Joseph (353) were the four advancing teams.

In addition to qualifying-team members, four at-large individual places qualified into one of two DI Northeast Ohio district tournaments. McKeown's 42-42--84 earned the first of those slots; she placed ninth overall. Magnificat's Cara Heisterkamp fired a 33-33--66 to earn medalist honors at Springvale.

McKeown will compete Oct. 12 at Brookledge Golf Club in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
