ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- The Pirates notched a season-high 10 goals in a district-tournament shutout of the Bard Raptors Tuesday.

With a second straight win for the first time since Sept. 1, Rocky River (7-5-5) now advances to a Saturday match in its bracket. Buckeye will host River in that match (4 p.m.). River is meeting its Great Lakes Conference foe for a second time this season: the Pirates and Bucks played to a 0-0- draw on Aug. 25.
