AVON, Ohio -- The Pirates dropped a road match at Avon Oaks Country Club, as Westlake defeated Rocky River, 194-205, in Wednesday afternoon Lake Erie Girls' Golf Association action.

The Pirates (9-7, 6-4 LEGGA) were led by Chloe Holton who carded a 47 on the par-36 front nine at Avon Oaks. Holton was backed on the score sheet by Kate McKeown (50), Mia Ginnetti (54), and Rachel Baird (54).

Gabby Pollak paced the Demons with a 6-over 42.

The event marked the conclusion of the Rocky River regular season. The Pirates will compete in sectional tournament play on Oct. 4.
