Pirates top Holy Name, 4-2

RR Boys' Soccer

PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio – Rocky River Boys’ Soccer rallied from a 2-0 first-half deficit, as the Pirates powered their way to a 4-2 Great Lakes Conference victory at Holy Name on Saturday.

Rocky River (5-3-1, 3-2 GLC) got all four of its goals (Jack Maher, Athan Tsigas, Nate Keeling—two) after halftime. Keeling slipped in a 30-yarder – the eventual game-winner -- for his first of his two.

Chase DeClerck and Conor McKenna figured prominently in River’s play-making efforts.

The Pirates are slated to return home for a match against Elyria Catholic on Wednesday (7 p.m.).
