WARSAW, Ohio -- The Rocky River Pirates defeated the Ashland Arrows, 1-0, in the River View Soccer Showcase on Monday.

A lone River goal held up, as the Maroon & White remained unbeaten (3-0-1) on the season and won their third consecutive match via shutout. Senior Keira Vesy scored the Pirate goal -- her third in as many games -- in the first half. Vesy and Addie Harris were named co-MVPs of the game.

The Pirates are scheduled to return to action with a Great Lakes Conference battle at Buckeye on Wednesday.
