ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- The Walsh Warriors defeated the Rocky River Pirates, 4-1, on Tuesday.
Samantha Robertson took down her opposite at first singles to log River's lone win. Robertson won, 6-2, 7-6(2).
Among the Pirates four losses, Scout Hahn and Hannah Burgess stood out in second doubles. Hahn and Burgess gave a game effort, working well in tandem and attacking the net in an eventual 6-2, 3-6, 0-1 (7) loss.
The match between Walsh and Rocky River took place at Tri-City Park.
