ROCKY RIVER, Ohio -- Rocky River defeated Lakewood, 5-0, on Wednesday, and the victory keeps the Pirates undefeated (5-0) in Great Lakes Conference play.

Samantha Robertson won by forfeit in first singles. Becca Krebs dominated a 6-0, 6-0 match in the two-hole. At third singles, Makenzie Runyon defeated Sofia Bitner, 6-1, 6-0. In doubles play, the tandem of Caitlin Kelly and Maire Kate Hickey upped their season mark to 5-7 with a 6-1, 6-2 triumph in the No. 1 game. In second doubles, Scout Hahn and Hannah Burgess came away with a 6-1, 6-2 victory. They are now 5-5 this fall.

Wednesday's win at Tri-City Park runs River's season record to 5-7.
