CLEVELAND – The Pirates hosted the Bay Rockets in a Lake Erie Girls Golf Association match at Little Met Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon. Rocky River won the match, 175-206, to remain undefeated (3-0) in LEGGA play.

 

Junior Kate McKeown carded a 5-over 39 on the 2,194-yard, par-34 track in Rocky River Reservation. She led the Pirates in scoring, parring three holes and birdieing another (No. 4) along the way.

 

Ciara Grieve logged three pars in firing a 43. Lexi Aguilar followed with a 46. Lauren Solecki finished with a 47.

 

The Pirates (4-1, 3-0 LEGGA) and Rockets are scheduled to meet again on Wednesday in a match at Bay’s home course, Sweetbriar Golf Club in Avon, Ohio.
