ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – Rocky River went 3-0 in a quad match at Westwood Country Club on Thursday.
With a 43 and three 51 making for a team score of 196, the Pirates turned aside St. Joseph Academy (204), Westlake (206) and Bay (243) in the west-side clash on the 1914 C.H. Alison layout. River’s four scorers were Kate McKeown (43), Lexi Aguilar (51), Ciara Grieve (51) and Maggie Rodgers (51).
The nine-hole event concluded the regular season for the
Maroon & White. Rocky River will compete in a division I sectional
tournament at Legacy Golf Club (Avon Lake) on Wednesday.
