ROCKY RIVER, Ohio - Goldwood Primary School hosted its Grade 1 and Grade 2 Spelling Bees on Monday morning in the Goldwood Room.
A total of 15 first graders competed in the day's first Spelling Bee with Evelyn Ganzer winning the first grade event and Thea Zehnder finishing in second place. At the second grade level, 15 students took part in the Spelling Bee with Oliver Church claiming first place and Nikolas Kola finishing as the runner-up. Church also won the first grade Spelling Bee at Goldwood last year.
